Community Involvement

Pro Bono Services
Daley Zucker, LLC is committed to supporting our community by providing pro bono services, as well as financially supporting Dauphin County’s Mid Penn Legal Services and Cumberland County’s Pro Bono programs.

Humane Society of Harrisburg Area (HSHA)
We participate annually to the kennel sponsorship program which allows HSHA to provide shelter, nourishment, medical attention, and most importantly, love to the animals under their care. In the past, we have participated in the SK Run/Walk for the Animals, as well as contributed to their annual Fur Ball Gala.

Cumberland County Bar Association and Foundation’s Annual Adopt-A-Family Program
The attorneys and staff at Daley Zucker, LLC participate in providing holiday gifts benefiting families in shelters, to include Safe Harbour, Carlisle C.A.R.E.S., and the Domestic Violence Shelter of Cumberland and Perry County.

Dauphin County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
The mission of CASA is to train dedicated volunteers to become agents of change for abused and neglected children from Dauphin County and assist them to achieve their full potential.

West Shore Rotary Club – Flags for Heros
Flags for Heroes honors our first responders, teachers, veterans, active military, nurses, foster parents, and all of those who give selflessly for our country, community, and family. Proceeds from the event benefits local charities such as Cleve J. Fredricksen Library, New Hope Ministries, Mission Central, and Vickie’s Angel Foundation, to name a few.

Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association (CATRA)
At CATRA, every horse, goat, bunny, pig, cat, and donkey play a vital role in their mission: providing quality equine and animal-assisted therapeutic programs to the people of the Capital area with all types of special needs. Each animal depends on high-quality feed, vet visits, dental care, hoof trimming, shelter, and daily attention to stay healthy and safe for those they serve.

Kick in for Kids
Kick in for Kids helps students and families in the Cumberland Valley, Mechanicsburg, and East Pennsboro School Districts who are dealing with temporary hardships. They work directly with the school districts to identify students and families with temporary assistance until permanent assistance can be arranged such as payments for rent, utility bills, minor home repairs; provide gift cards for food, clothing, prescriptions, etc.; funding services such as dental exams, medical care and psychological counseling; and so much more.

The Peyton Walker Foundation – Huddle for Hearts
Huddle for Hearts, powered by The Peyton Walker Foundation, helps place publicly accessible AED devices in local parks and supports heart screenings for children and CPR training for families, coaches, teachers and community members.

Jeans for Charity
Daley Zucker, LLC instituted a “Jeans for Charity” program several years ago wherein every Friday, the attorneys and staff wear jeans at the office in exchange for a small monetary donation that goes to a local charity of our choice. Our past recipients over the past few years have been the United Methodist Home for Children located in Mechanicsburg, Speranza Animal Rescue in Mechanicsburg, and the Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area.
