BACKGROUND

Melissa’s interest in the law began when she was only in the 1st grade.  Melissa has extensive experience in collections law, bankruptcy and family law. Later she was introduced to estate planning and estate administration. Melissa enjoys helping families and is able to draw on her experiences to empathize with her clients.

EXPERIENCE

Melissa brings over 15 years of legal experience to Daley Zucker. A leader both in and out of her profession, Melissa is a frequent author and lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Middle District Bankruptcy Bar  Association and the Dauphin County Bar Association.  She is an advocate of the collaborative process that is focused on solutions that benefit all parties.  Melissa also has experience litigating when the collaborative process breaks down. She believes that her most important job is helping clients understand their options, while assisting them in making informed decisions that are both efficient and cost-effective.

 

FUN FACTS ABOUT MELISSA

Melissa studied abroad in Geneva, Switzerland after her first year in law school. An active mom of two teenage boys, she regularly attends their sporting events and other extracurricular activities. You can often hear her cheering in the stands.  Melissa is  an avid  West Virginia University Mountaineer fan.  She is very active in her community and affiliations.
